BOARD OF DIRECTORS
President & Founder
Erica is President & Founder of Pawsitive Hearts Dog Rescue! When she isn’t working at her full time job as an Account Executive for a major cell phone carrier, you can find her somewhere with the dogs. She doesn’t have any adopted dogs of her own, but instead fosters dogs that need more behavior or medical attention than most dogs. She has two adopted fur babies her cats, Zero and Payday. (Named after candy bars 😜) She loves fostering and getting updates from dogs that have been adopted, and is one of the main reasons she continues to foster (and hasn’t adopted yet 😉) Busy is an understatement for this boss lady, as she wears many hats from coordinating with fosters, adopters, shelters, transport, finance and website management - a little bit of everything!
KEY VOLUNTEER MEMBERS
Foster Coordinator - Zanesville
Nikki is our foster coordinator for the Zanesville area, and also works full time as a sales specialist at Spectrum. Her goal is to one day open a boutique, and be able to foster as many dogs as possible. Her first foster was a wonderful senior pug named Diamond, and she couldn’t imagine her family without her and adopted her! She has always loved writing and animals, and hopes to one day write a book about PHDR dogs for the whole world to see what we do!
Celena has been Married 11 years, She has what she calls a "mini zoo" that includes 3 mini pigs, 2 goats, 4 turkeys, 18 chickens,1 donkey, 4 horses,12 fish, 9 cats and 7 dogs. To say she is an animal lover is an understatement. She has worked at All about the animals as a vet tech for 3 years. Her passion in life is fishing and most anything outdoor or four legged! Celena follows up with all of our adopters quarterly, and annually to ensure our dogs are on the right track, getting required annual vaccines and keeping microchip information up to date.
Christina is a devoted animal-lover, mother, and wife. She works from home as a Health Guide and this allows her to foster doggies for Pawsitive Hearts!
She's been volunteering with us for 1 year & so far she has only foster-failed once ;) ...when a sweetheart named Gidget stopped by for a weekend that turned into fur-ever. She also has a previously adopted rescue dog named Wendell (He's in the photo!!) and rescue cat named Mr. Owl. Recently she started creating content for our blog! You should check it out. :D
