Ways to Support PHDR even if you can't foster/adopt.

Hi friends, it's been a minute! Thanks for waiting so patiently-- we've been busy! ๐Ÿพ๐Ÿพ Today I wanted to talk about something that I think most of us have considered before, but weren't sure if what we heard or read about was truly helpful. So let's clear the air and talk about ways to help support rescues like Pawsitive Hearts even if you can't adopt or foster! 1. VOLUNTEER! The absolute number one way to help is to volunteer your time. Volunteers are always needed for special events or for transporting pups to/from vet appointments or meet & greets with potential adopters. We often need dog walkers! Maybe you have grant-writing knowledge or are really good with numbers, are a whiz at social media and websites. The opportunities are kind of endless in this regard. Reach out if you would like to volunteer with us at PHDR! 2. Donate Food, beds, toys, crates, etc. And of course dollars. Everything helps. Sometimes we even need things you would never think of like old blankets/towels and baby pools! So maybe next time you are Marie Kondo-ing your closets, think of us! ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ™Œ Of course you can always send brand-new bought goods as well. 3. Help us fundraise! You know those Facebook birthday requests where someone asks for donations? They genuinely work! Please consider choosing Pawsitive Hearts for your next party. You can host your own event and donate the proceeds, also. Plus we'll love you forever. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ 4. & Participate This one goes along with the above point -- when we have events, sell tshirts, mugs, etc. please participate!! This is a fun way to get involved and generate life-saving revenue for the organization! 5. Share, share, share!!! Spread the word, share our posts, tell your friends and family. Every new connection made could be the exact one we need to find the perfect home for one of our foster dogs. ๐Ÿ’• Follow us for updates here: And here:

5. Create Are you good at sewing, art, crafting? Maybe you could create something like doggie bandanas, nametags, or blankets, and donate them?! Or you could use them to share our mission, generate awareness and additional support! We can never have too many allies, so if this sounds like you, please consider using your skills to help out dogs in need.
